18. CUT

This signal is given to indicate termination of whatever is in progress -
music playback, horseplay, arguments, pitched battles, etc.

A general purpose signal given to a performer to indicate cutting an optional paragraph,
cutting an entire speech, giving up their careers, etc.

It is made in the same manner as #17 above, by drawing one hand horizontally across one's throat.
